ValTraq Valet Parking Notifications

Program Description

ValTraq sends automated transactional SMS notifications to hotel and venue guests during their valet parking visit. Messages include vehicle check-in confirmation, vehicle request acknowledgment, and vehicle ready-for-pickup notification. This is a service provided by Macara Software LLC through participating hotel and venue valet operations.

How to Opt In

Guests opt in to receive SMS notifications by providing their mobile phone number to the valet attendant during vehicle check-in at the valet stand. Before the phone number is entered into the system, the following consent notice is displayed on the ValTraq application:

"By providing your phone number, you consent to receive automated text messages from ValTraq regarding your valet parking visit, including check-in confirmation, vehicle request status, and vehicle ready notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel."

Providing a phone number is completely optional and is not required to use the valet service. Guests who do not wish to receive text messages may simply decline to provide their phone number.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your valet parking activity. Typically, guests receive 2-4 messages per valet visit:

  • 1 check-in confirmation message when your vehicle is parked
  • 1 acknowledgment message when you request your vehicle
  • 1 notification when your vehicle is ready for pickup
  • Guests with overnight valet may receive messages on multiple days

Message and data rates may apply. Please contact your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan.

How to Opt Out

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from ValTraq. You will receive a single confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out request, and no further messages will be sent. You can opt back in at any time by replying START.
